Hello family My name is Vanessa, I'm Brazilian, I speak Portuguese and I'm improving my English. I have 8 years of experience with children, however, in these, I have been with special education for 6 years and my experience is with children with intellectual disabilities such as down syndrome, autism, ADHD, dyslexia and those who need special care. A child is such a precious treasure to his/her parents, I understand that because I am a mother as well. Such fundamentals made me an even more responsible, attentive and patient professional. I have extensive experience with children and I will help your family in the routine of taking care of your treasure because I have deep love for what I do. I have worked as a nanny for a family with three lovely children in Brazil. I’ve stopped working for this family because they needed someone to stay with them for the whole day, unfortunately I couldn't do it because I was studying. I am grateful for having had the opportunity to work with this amazing family! Then I've been working in schools for more than 7 years, in different grades each year, where I had the opportunity to work with children of different ages (between 6 and 17 years old). I am happy to report that the children I assisted achieved excellent practical and intellectual results, all of that was possible with a lot of research, my postgraduate study and love, in addition to the welcoming school environment, the bond with the children and the good relationship with their families. Also, I have a brother with an intellectual disability, he inspired me to study inclusion. After completing my specialization, I’ve started working in the area and today I am completely passionate about my work. Currently I am working at a school in the city where I live but for personal reasons I am moving to Canada. From now on I want to continue taking care of children closer to their families, helping them in their homes.
