Hi there! I'm a student here at the University of Manitoba, am currently working towards applying for social work in a year. I currently am employed working 2 mornings a week in a preschool here in the city, and have worked as a camp counsellor at Caddy Lake Girl Guide Camp in the summer of 2012. In addition to having first hand experience working with children ranging from aged 3-16, I have also taken a few courses so far with different focuses on child development. I have done criminal record checks/child abuse checks and would of course be willing to provide another if requested by a potential family. This past winter I became certified in CPR/First Aid. I really enjoy spending time with children, and working with them has proven to be a very fulfilling part of my life.
