Nanny in Halifax, Nova Scotia

Hi, my name is Avery and I am looking for a new family to work with as a nanny. I live in Truro, Nova Scotia and have experience working with infants, primary school children and also part-time and full-time. I am a friendly and reliable person who loves to take care of children. I am able to provide housekeeping, meal prep and pet care services. I am also available to work 8-hour shifts and I can be flexible with my rates. I currently charge $15.0 an hour. While working as a babysitter for six years and an overnight summer camp counsellor for four years, I have gained essential qualities and skills that make me a strong candidate for a nanny position. Over my years of babysitting, I have cared for kids ages twelve months old to eight years old. In this job field I have provided the general and necessary care for infants, as well as prepared meals, developed fun activities, kept a clean home, and ensured that each child was loved and safe in my care. My summer job as a camp counsellor at Ross Creek Centre for the Arts in Canning, Nova Scotia, Canada has provided me with the stellar qualities and skills I have. Over my time at Ross Creek, I have worked with children ages four to sixteen in art-based workshops and overnight settings - where I have been their primary caretaker twenty-four hours a day, six days a week. Through this job, I have also gained experience in collaborating with coworkers to coordinate recreational activities, preparing meals and cleaning a professional kitchen, tidying any and all spaces on a large property, and tending to basic gardening. Besides my workplace experience, I have obtained my First Aid with Level C CPR and AED through The Canadian Red Cross. Proof of that, as well as my clean criminal record check, can be provided upon request. I also have a driver's license!
