I am a loving, creative and responsible caregiver and post partum doula with a life-long passion for childcare, birth, and family care. Building on over a decade of childcare and family support work, I am currently pursuing certification as a full spectrum doula (birth, postpartum, loss, and fertility support), and can offer a range of support beyond traditional child-minding. I approach my childcare work from a holistic perspective, and enjoy working with parents to find a personalized model of care that will support them in achieving their own vision of a happy, healthy, and sustainable growth environment for their children (and themselves). While my primary focus is on direct care work, I am also happy to do light housework, assist with development of sustainable home care/organization routines, and meal preparation (I am vegan and can independently prepare nourishing plant-based food, but am also happy to cook whatever you want with some instruction — just not skilled/experienced in cooking meat!) I am also a musician and yoga teacher, and always enjoy incorporating music, art and creative/healing movement into my work with both children and parents. I approach childcare work as an opportunity to connect with, nurture and learn from each individual infant and child, and to create an environment that helps them to grow and explore the world around them in an inquisitive and creative way.
