Taking care of children and seniors is very rewarding and it teaches you a lot. It keeps you young and flexible. When I was 15 I already took care of my family, because my mother passed away and ever since I thrive best in care taking. I think I was born to do so and it is my goal in life to take care of people from the heart. Becoming an LPN was therefor the most logic step for me and I have over 20 years of experience in care taking, most of it in Holland because I am Dutch. I immigrated in 2006 and since 2009 I live in Nova Scotia. I speak Dutch, German and English. When I was in my twenties I looked after 4 kids in 1 family. The family had a business from home and I was there from 8 am till 8pm. I worked with this family for about 4 years. In 1985 I was a live-in nanny in Montreal for 5 months, taking care of a boy of 5 years old.
