I am a Direct Support Professional (DSP) with a Recreation Therapy diploma with years of experience working with children. I grew up in a home daycare, worked as a camp leader and have been doing baby sitting jobs all my life. As I am currently employed as a DSP, I am looking for clients who require childcare services once to three times a week. Description of Skills: - CPR First Aide Certified - Personal Trainer Certified - Dementiability Certified - Smart Serve Certified - Have taken a baby sitter course I am comfortable doing pet care, housekeeping, meal prep and working with children, elderly and those living with a disability. I have experience providing assistance in activities of daily living for elderly and middle age adults with mental and/or physical disabilities, as well as working with children. I understand and have experience working with individuals who are sick, and am comfortable coming into work if your dependant is unwell. I am a bubbly, compassionate, empathetic, enthusiastic, safety and fun oriented person. My caring philosophy is person-centred, based off of models, theories and experiences I have learned from in my working and educational careers.
