Hi there, my name is Paige Johnson. I just finished up my third year doing a double degree in Film and media studies as well as English at Queen’s University and I'm back home for the summer looking to find a nannying job in Saskatoon! I’ve always loved working with kids whether it be babysitting growing up, working as a counsellor at a summer camp, or helping out in different classrooms! A few summers ago I had the pleasure of working with the family of a 6-month-old, as well as a two-year-old, and had an absolute blast with them over the summer getting to know the kids as well as the family. In terms of the services and experiences I have to offer-I’ve cared for a pretty wide age range throughout my time and feel more than comfortable learning and adjusting to anything thrown at me. I have a class five full licence with a clean driving record, as well as my own vehicle, a 2014 Hyundai Tuscon SUV available to use for transportation. All throughout high school I got the chance to be a part of the best buddies program where we got to know as well as hang out with the kids in the special needs programs. It was a huge highlight for me throughout my time at St. Joes, as it gave me a great perspective on caring for kids, as well as a whole lot of new friends. I'm super active and love new activities as well as teaching through everyday experiences, but more than anything I’m about as social as they come and love any chance I have to meet new people.
