Hey, my name is Anja. I'm 26 years old and I arrived from Germany to do one year of work-and-travel. I do have a work permit for Canada. I will travel around the country, that's why my address changes from time to time. Currently I'm in Montréal and I'm going to stay here untill the end of January or longer (depending on job opportunities). As you can see below, I have many experience in working with children and I really love it! I love to help them learning something new and enjoy their creativity and different points of views. I like to work with young children and see them grow while experiencing a lot. I'm pleased to get to know you and your children! I have a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education. In Germany I was working for about the last three years at a kindergarten for deaf children 2-6 years old and during vacation at a school's daycare for deaf children up to grade 5. Before I started studying, I did a social year in a primary school and attended a first class a s well as working in the school's daycare. In 2014 I started voluntary work for the german YMCA (it's called CVJM). Together with a team a planned an implemented a two-weeks-children-camp for 8- to 12-year-olds once a year. In 2018 and 2019 I was responsible for this camp as a leader. Some years ago, I took care during two weeks of my summer holidays at a daycare for children with multiple disabilities. In two years, I took care for a boy with mental handicap und one year for a girl who had physical and mental handicaps. Babysitting itself I just did a few times and watched my cousins when my aunt and uncle went out for the evening. But I'm sure with the experience I have, I can take good care! I can cook, but I'm not a very good cook. Depending on what you expect, I would do the cooking either. My first aid certification is from Germany, I hope that’s okay. All in all, I really like the contact to children and would be happy to work for you and I'm not afraid to try and experience something new.
