Hi! I’m Ireland. A little bit about me: I’m 23 years old, I recently graduated as a peristeam-hydrotherapist combined with herbal therapy, supporting women with their reproductive health and their fertility/postpartum journey’s. I live in west end Vancouver with my 2 year old pup Koa. I am seeking a live-out opportunity to support a family with up to 2 children/infants of any age, part-time starting in April, 2024. I have experience with a very special autistic toddler, who has taught me an abundance of patience while learning how I can best support him living in a world so rooted in his own unique perspective. I am a very wellness oriented/health conscious individual and can happily accommodate all dietary preferences. Cooking holds a special place in my heart; I’ve learned the value in nourishment from highly nutritious meals, that aid the bodies evolution into in its primal development. I am open to learning more and supporting your family to the best of my abilities. I love the outdoors, it’s where I find the most connection to the ways the imagination can blossom with the trees. I pride myself on my communication skills, as I have experience participating in non-violent communication workshops and have practiced this method for many years. I believe it’s important for children and adults to effectively have the skills to communicate from a compassionate heart space, so everyone’s needs can be met in a loving way. I am extremely nurturing, and have a strong desire to connect with children, I genuinely feel that we have so much to learn from them. I am a very hands on/artsy girl, I enjoy using creativity to stimulate their minds and bring forth any hidden talents that may support their development and build their confidence. I am extremely organized, I understand the importance of feeling safe in a space that is tidy. With that being said I love to clean and I thoroughly enjoy the process of maintaining that. I have my CPR and first aid, so I am capable of creating a safe environment for the children should there be any accidents.
