Nanny in Edmonton, Alberta

My name is Nicole Geczi, I am 26 years old, and I live in Edmonton. I am currently enrolled in Early Childhood education program, studying on part-time basis. I have successfully completed approximately half of my courses. Part of my program was a recent study abroad trip to Jamaica. I worked with children aged three and four. It was great experience to learn the value of cultural diversity. My work with children started at age 13 when I found my first babysitting job. I continued working with that family and couple more families until I entered College and moved out of my parents house at age 19. I continued working with children, full-time at a summer camp and part-time during the year. This work took me in the world of children with special needs, particularly autism. It is extremely rewarding work and I find that I learned a lot. I also enjoy volunteer work. The last volunteer position was with grade two children and as a lead at Special need summer camp (Easter Seals). Since I live alone for about five years, I am very comfortable with housekeeping and meal preparation. I grew up with pets which makes me also contended with pet care. I am reliable, responsible and I love working with children. My school in the next semester is on Wednesdays but I will be available to work for the rest of the week. I can start at any time. I hold current Standard Firs Aid & CPR certification. Unfortunately, I don’t have a car, but I am very comfortable with Edmonton public transit.
