About Me: Hi! My name is Leith. I am searching for a family needing (Late) Summer Child Care, 4-5 daytime weekdays, 30-40 hours. I have 40 plus years experience in all child care fields; Live-in and Live-out Nanny, Home Day Care, Preschool Teacher and Day Care Teacher, and volunteering in children's community events/programs. I provide crafts, games, storytime, music/singing, free play, and outdoor time with play, and outings to various facilities, and so much more! I look forward to hearing from you with the number and ages of children, duties, hours, location, and about your family! Children are my passion and it is my goal to keep them happy! Our experience with Leith was very positive, and we can recommend her without hesitation. Leith cared for two young children Monday to Friday, eight hours a day. Besides caring for the physical needs of the children (which are many!), Leith formed a strong relationship with each. She is a kind caretaker who will provide for your children’s physical, developmental, and emotional needs.
I know that you will enjoy working with Leith as much as we did. She is hard-working, reliable, incapable of dishonesty, and agreeable. We learned that she does significant volunteer and charitable work outside of work hours. She is that type of person. It was a pleasure to get to know her, and the children grew to love her. I can offer her my highest recommendation. I am sure that if you check with Leith’s previous families that they will say much the same things about her.

Leith is a warm and trustworthy caregiver. Our two children (then ages 2 and 4) always looked forward to spending time with her. Leith brings along a suitcase of activities - games, crafts, books - that change with the seasons and our kids really looked forward to seeing what new things she had with her. Leith spent lots of time with quiet, one on one time reading books and doing crafts, as well as trips out to the park and for walks daily. Our girls still speak fondly about Leith regularly. She will be a wonderful addition to your family.

Leith was a wonderful nanny for our son between the ages of 1-3. She is caring, fun, very experienced, and seems to genuinely love her work. We found her consistently pleasant, engaged and wholly invested in the welfare of our child. Leith never seemed to lose enthusiasm and was always more than happy to initiate a craft project at the kitchen table, undertake a story marathon, or embark on an outing to the playground or library (on public transit!). We never had any concerns regarding Leith's trustworthyness, competency or dedication. Our son developed a very special bond with Leith which continues to this day. She became like family to us! I would not hesitate to recommend Leith as a nanny.

Leith came into our lives when we needed it most, there was a COVID related school lock down. I needed someone who was safe with covid protocols, and able to jump into our routine and help. Leith worked with our family from 830 - 3 daily, she prepared meals, kept the kids occupied and also assisted with online school for a jk'r. Leith was very tidy, every day the dishes were washed or put in the dishwasher, recycling taken out, green bin emptied. She also brought her own activities - game, bingo, matching games for the kids that the kids loved. I would highly recommend Leith as a caregiver and overall helper in my home.
