I just returned from 8 months of being a live in au pair in Australia! It was an amazing experience that taught me so much and only made my heart grow more for families and children! I’m quick to learn and adapt to your families needs. My duties included taking care of the children, home days as well as taking them to and from school. Making sure homework got done, baths, laundry, cooking and most importantly that the kids were safe and happy! Prior to this experience I also did respite for foster children in Winnipeg that helped a lot to prepare me for my time as a live in aupair! In 2015 I attended a 6 month program (Youth With A Mission) in Australia and Taiwan. I spent 2 months specifically working with children and in the school system! Cooking, cleaning and entertaining are known activities to me and have become enjoyable. A home should be a safe and loving place and I feel I can contribute to making that happen.
