Nanny in Montréal - Ouest, Quebec

I am a 20 year-old Design student at Concordia University. I grew up in both Montreal and Vermont. In high school I was a high honors student and played soccer, basketball, and track and field. I have always had a passion for art which lead me to pursue my studies in Design. At the age of 14, I got the babysitters certification and have been babysitting children from the ages of 2 months-11 years old since then. Growing up, my mother ran a YMCA after school and summer camp program which I helped out with every day after school for two years. I helped children of various ages, coordinated activities, and helped children adjust to be independent when starting school in both preschool and kindergarten. I intend to take a CPR and first aid class before starting my position as a nanny. As a nanny, I will care for the baby or toddler with my complete attention while teaching them new age-appropriate things. I will respect any parental guidelines and routines that the family may have. I have worked with children with special needs on multiple occasions in high school and university. I have taken part in the Special Olympics as a partner, and was a part of the Best Buddies Program last year at Concordia University. I love to have fun , and make a child feel safe with me. I will ensure a sense of trust with the baby or toddler. I enjoy and am willing to cook, do laundry, garden, care for animals, and supervise swimming. I live in Notre Dame de Grace near Westmount in Montreal. I work part-time at Roots in Westmount and am always willing to adjust this schedule with what the family requires. I am looking for about 25-35 hours a week, all summer. I have a safe car (Toyota Corolla) that I can always use as a nanny. I am looking to care for children from ages 2 months- 4 years old.
