Hello! My name is Michael Young, I'm 25 years old and I'm based in Halifax, Nova Scotia. I've recently completed a degree in Fine Art from NSCAD University and have been working full-time for the last 2 years at Dalhousie University. I have years of experience working at day and overnight camps, coaching, tutoring and babysitting pre school and primary school aged children. I'm passionate about being a mentor, helping provide guidance, education and most importantly having fun! In addition to providing exceptional childcare, I'm happy to assist with housekeeping, meal prep, and pet care. I have a valid drivers license and vehicle as well, should transportation be one of your needs. My number one goal is to make sure that your child feels safe and comfortable. I always strive to create a stimulating environment with opportunities to learn and I understand that everyone has different interests, learning levels and skills. I'm always happy to make an activity happen whether it's a tea party or a game of soccer in the backyard. My hourly rate is $20.00, and I am more than happy to discuss any specific needs or requirements you may have for your family. I'm currently available on weekends and after 4:30pm on weekdays.
