Hello parents! My name is Sofia, I’m a 25 year old fun, responsible and nurturing babysitter. I am currently seeking a full-time live-out position, but I am also open to part-time opportunities. My background with children starts with my own family as I’m one of oldest of 7 siblings. I’ve always helped my mom with feeding, playtime, diapers, homework, etc. I was often relied on so she could have free time and I’ve been able to participate through all stages of development of both boys and girls. I also have experience at a small Mexican culinary school that held summer courses. My role was to supervise a group of 8 kids between ages 6 and 10 during their classes and stay with them through pickup time. I strive for an enriching environment for kids as they grow into themselves safely and accompanied. Beyond my childcare service I am a very clean, organized, honest worker, and I would have no trouble helping keep home tidy! I have a year and a half meal-prep background with Cirque du Soleil and have coursed 3 years of art school so I am able to also help with meal-prepping and organizing fun and crafty afternoon activities that incorporate colours, shapes and textures. I speak fluent Spanish, English and a dab of French. Lastly, I am also fond of / have had experience looking after house pets such as cats, dogs and fish.
