I am a empowerment based approached nanny with experience in teaching children through play , music & art. I thoroughly believe that all children want to do is learn, whether it be jumping off a couch or playing quietly by themselves. I will provide your child with a safe and fun learning experience while helping them reach their physical, social, cognitive , emotional & independent life skills. I feel It is important above all else to keep a consistent schedule along with a little flexibility because, lets face it children never go according to plan anyways. None the less I can guarantee that you child with have a fantastic time in my care. ABOUT ME: I have worked as a Play & Learn Teacher at Gymboree Play & Music (0-36 mos.) , Autism Tutor at St. Amant (children ages 4-6) and currently work at Klinic Community Health Center as a Sexual Assault Counselor . The reason why I am doing this work is to gain more experience with children and eventually start my own play therapy practice. I also have experience with ABA (Applied Behavioral Analysis )and DTT (Discrete Trial Teaching) as well as my Level C in both first aid and CPR. My rate is $20 an hour for a single child and $5 for each additional child.
