Nanny in Fredericton, New Brunswick

Hello there, my name is Essma! I'm looking for caretaking and/or tutoring positions in the Fredericton area for July and August of 2024. I am an elementary school teacher! I have been a certified teacher for 2 years. As well, I was a nanny for a wonderful 12 month old two summers ago, and have been babysitting consistently for this family since! Looking for: I would love to work with a family in either a full-time position or part-time position during these summer months. I am happy to babysit/nanny, as well as tutor! I am very flexible and adaptable, so let me know what your situation is and I would love to fit into that. Background: I have over 10 years of experience in childcare/babysitting and have experience working at an after school kids program, as well as tutoring with young children. A bit about me: I am calm and kind with the children I work with. I value open communication and clear, strong boundaries. As much as I love to play and have fun, I also love to find learning opportunities in every day play. I would describe my caretaking/teaching as intentional, patient, compassionate but also firm and structured. I clearly communicate boundaries and expectations, while keeping open dialogue with children and encourage them to voice their feelings/thoughts. I always take these into consideration, but ultimately am comfortable setting boundaries and sticking to them. Consistency is truly key! Provide: I am able to provide supervision, homework help, teaching, entertainment, light cooking, light cleaning, driving etc. I have my drivers license and a car.
