Nanny in Ottawa, Ontario

Hi! I’m Erin! I’m an Ontario certified teacher but currently a stay at home mom of 2, ages 1 & 3. I have previous nanny experience and was with the same family for over 2 years. Before attending teachers college I worked as a Flight Attendant where I received extensive first aid and CPR training. I am offering part time care beginning September 2025. The family must be open to the fact that I would be bringing my son along (he will be 21 months at the time). Which means your little one(s) get a built in play mate! I will provide all his own snacks and lunch. I am available between the hours of 9am-2pm Monday-Wednesday. I believe that outdoors is the best place for a child to be! In my care, I would prioritize outdoor free play.. rain or shine! We would also spend our time reading books and learning through play. I am also open to taking children to play groups, story times at the library and other similar outings. My style of parenting is attachment based, which is reflected in my care. I have no problem supporting littles to sleep and babywearing. I am also cloth diaper friendly and can support in toilet learning. I am open to light house work such as unloading dishwasher, cleaning up the kitchen after meal time, switching over the laundry etc. I’m located just past Manotick so ideally would love to match with a family who is not too far from here!
