I am a mature female(grandma style) who loves children! Because of my contract work with EmployAbilities in Edmonton I have had the chance to work with many individuals who are challenged in many ways (there literally are too many to list) and before working there I didn't even know half of them or know of the need to adapt the studies to suit the individual. Now I can say I can do this on the fly so to speak, sometimes it needs to be more formal but oftentimes it just needs to be spontaneous. Even though I have had experience working with people who have challenges I have also had experience with working with children who do not. I have been a play school teacher's assistant, a play school teacher, and a substitute play school teacher, so I do know how to interact with younger children as well.
