Nanny in Saanich, British Columbia

I just graduated high school and am taking a gap year to gain experience working full time. For the past three consecutive years, I have babysat cassually, taught swimming lessons primarily to kids aged 3-12, creating engaging lessons and helping to foster a joy for the water, and led canoe trips out of a remote youth camp for groups of youth ages 7-17, sharing with them a self-sufficient and creative way of living in community. From these experiences, I have elevated my ability to engage with kids, constantly innovating activities that suit their interests and adapting to their emotional and physical needs. The past four months, I was in Quebec City, learning about the local culture and language after doing French immersion from Kindergarten to Grade 12. I am fluent in French and English, and would love to share my languages. Some of my hobbies include rock climbing, swimming, dancing and acrobatics (I was breifly part of a community circus), languages, reading and writing, drawing, watercolours, and music (I have a CD player which I can easily transport and play the Oboe (I have two Oboes, so would be glad to teach any young aspiring muscicians)). I am very interested in working with kids and being engaged in the community. I volunteered teaching Oboe to young musicians with the Principal Oboeist of the Saskatoon Symphony Orchestra and as a swim instructor for a parapelegic learn to swim program. I'm looking for a full time Nanny position extending at the minimum to the end of April. My availability until the end of April, beginning of May is completly open during normal daytime working hours and most evenings.
