Nanny in Beaumont, Alberta

Dear Family, My name is Patchaporn Sriklai. I’m a 33 years old candidate from Thailand and I would like to describe myself with this letter. It was always a great dream of mine to live and work in a foreign country and I am really exciting that it will become reality soon. I was graduated Master Degree of science from agriculture faculty , Kasetsart University. About my person: I am a creative and ambitious young woman because I have a lot of ideas about my future and I can say that I’m very flexible , easy going , trustworthy and independent. In my free time, I’m enjoy being outdoors, being with my friends, reading a good book .I like to go out for walk and sightseeing some time if I have more times I like to travel aboard or sometime in another town because I like to travel and see a new thing. I just try to learn how to play guitar by myself and last winter I have try how to skiing. It was fantastic sport and I love it. And I really love cooking and I like to taste other foods. At home I often cook menu for my family and I also prepare dinner for my host family and children. My first language is, of course, Thai and I’m also can speak English. I started learning English in primary school, and it was also the language of instruction in the secondary school I attended. I have in addition been taking courses taught in English at university. When it comes to child care experience, I have looked after children in both formal and informal contexts. At the beginning I looked after my little cousins and as time went by the adults trusted in me and so I got more and more responsibility and I also worked in child care center and I have learn child care course included train first aid and CPR . I got my first paid nanny job in Sweden (AUPAIR). I came to Sweden on November 2014 and stay with Swedish family for 1 year. I have take care if 1 baby girl (age 7 month when I arrived). My tasks start at 8.00 am I was prepare food for her, feed her ,change diaper , play with her ,bring her to play group and take the baby to nap and then to look after her until 3pm. Sometime I had to babysit when the host parents need help in the evening or some weekend. My job was not very strenuous because she was a nice and happy girl and I was proud that the host parents trusted me. And the year after I came to Norway ,The 1st family in Norway need me to take care of their son (age 1 year and 2month when I arrived). My tasks start at 7.00 am I was prepare food for him, feed him ,change diaper , play with him ,bring him to play group and take the baby to nap and then to look after him until host came home. I lived with this family less than 1 year because of my tasks were a lot more than the AUPAIR rules so I decided to change family and then I have found a good family. In this house I have to look after 2 boys in age 6 and 8.they are going to school in day time so I started my day at 7.30am ,prepare breakfast and walk with the boys to meeting point and I came home to tidy up a house and then I have free time until pick up the boys from school , make dinner and stay with them until host parent came home. The boys is very nice and active so we play and have fun together. For me, It is not always easy to take care of children but it is a great experience to share some time with them. In Canada, I’m currently working with a wonderful family in Mississauga. 2 boys age 13 and 9. And I also have First aids and CPR class C from Red Cross Canada. As far as preferences are concerned, I’m looking for a live-in or live-out arrangement with a host family, that would be happy to have me work for them for Full Time or Part Time . I would also prefer looking after children aged between 0 months to 18 years.
