My name is Joanne, I'm a 23 year old female who is currently studying at the University of Winnipeg. I'm in my 4th year at the University of Winnipeg trying my best to earn a BA degree in French Studies then move on to earning a 2 year after degree to become an English and French elementary/middle school teacher. I'm currently working as a casual/substitute at the two daycares. I've been working at the Daycare for over a year now, and I have volunteered at an elementary school at their Coyote Club every Tuesdays for a year when I was in high school. I enjoy working at the daycare very much, and I would love to gain as much experience and skills working with children before becoming a teacher. I have my first aid and CPR certification. I enjoy gardening, swimming, drawing, and painting. I'm very outgoing and hardworking. I would say I'm very hardworking and I would do every thing I can to ensure that the child is in a safe environment. (My parents and younger siblings always say that I'm like the grandma in the family because I'm always trying to protect them but it's because I just want what is best for them.) I'm free every weekend, and most weekdays in August. Also, if you need a babysitter after August, I'm free every weekend, anytime after noon on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, and after 5pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays until the end of the year.
