Nanny in Terence Bay, Nova Scotia

It was wonderful having Samantha in our home looking after our little one. Samantha was our nanny periodically from August-September 2021 as well as full time from December 2021 – April 2022. She was amazing with our son and he was very close with her. He was a little over 1 year old when she started with us and he took to her instantly. She was attentive, nurturing and so caring of his development and well being. Sam took the upmost care with our family, and it being in the early times of Covid as well as us being new parents we felt safe with her in our family bubble. Samantha played, taught, read books, made crafts, went on walks, explored the outdoors, and taught life skills amongst many other exciting activities with our son. She put him down for his naps, made his lunches and snacks. She would always have our home looking beautiful as she did light house work like loading and unloading the dishwasher, cleaning counters, sweeping the floors, folding laundry and general tidying of our home and our little ones play areas. Both my wife and I work from home and she was very respectful of our work/life in and around the house and made our transition into consistent/regular work life again so much smoother. Sam was wonderful at communicating with us about our son and it was easy to communicate with her regarding our wants and needs for him. We have two cats and she was excellent with them as well. Samantha brought a calm energy to our home. Without a doubt we would still have Sam as our nanny if we hadn’t moved out of province. She was amazing, dedicated and an absolute joy to be around, very professional and caring all at the same time.
