I am 19 going on 20 years old this year, and have been a licensed babysitter since I was 12 years old (2015). I also have a clean, valid Class 5 Drivers License. I am the oldest cousin/niece/granddaughter in a large family with 11 younger cousins and 2 younger siblings from the ages of 1-17. My family is very close so I’ve been around and taken care of children my whole life. I’m experienced with diaper changes, bed time routines, bathtime, etc. My family consists of mostly girls so I’m excellent at doing hair, painting nails, etc. I’m looking for an opportunity to leave the retail/customer service industry. I’m currently working 3 retail jobs and would love to trade them in for fulfilling my time taking care of little ones, something I really enjoy. In my experience children seem to love to be in my presence, and I theirs. I like to be physically active and have no issue taking children to parks, for walks, bike rides, etc. I also do not mind doing any housekeeping, meal prep, etc. anything to make your life easier! I was also in French Immersion from the 1st grade- the 9th and have my DELF certificate. I have work experience at the Notre Dame Elementary School working with French Kindergarten and 1st grade classes. I would help the children with their French vocabulary, help them read, write, count, and supervise the classroom when the teacher was away. References can be given upon request.
