Nanny in Red Deer, Alberta

I have over 3 years of experience babysitting for my neighbors in my hometown. They had 2 kids when I started and added a 3rd before I moved. I took a babysitters course before I started with them and one specifically for babies when Lauren was born. I did my work experience in a k/1/2 classroom where my job was taking a grade 2 boy and a grade 1 girl to a separate room and teaching them the alphabet. I loved it. I made up games to help them learn. I volunteer for a program where I get to help kids learn to read. At one point my First Aid was valid, it's expired now. I think my food safe is still good but I'm not sure. I do know proper procedures for food safety as I previously had a job as a cook. I love to see a kids face light up when they are excited or happy.
