Nanny in North Vancouver, British Columbia

I'm an
Individual
Hello Parents, I am an experienced nanny with a passion for caring for children of all ages. I am currently working as a teaching assistant at I Genius Kids Learn and Play, a children's English school in Thailand, where I assist foreign teachers in caring for a group of youngsters ranging in age from 1.5 to 12. We use play-based topics to teach English, and I have learned how to help children improve their social and emotional skills through play. In addition to my current role, I have worked as an Au Pair in the USA and looked after a wonderful 2-year-old boy and girl twins. I have also worked at Babies Genius, a Thai child's brain development center, where I was responsible for a group of youngsters aged 6 months to 6 years. I am completely vaccinated and trained in first aid, CPR, Childcare, and Early Years Foundation Stage. My experience has given me a solid foundation in child development and I am familiar with the needs of children at different stages of development. I have a valid Thai driver's license, and I can transfer it to an international driver's license before flying to Canada. I am excited to offer my expertise to your family and provide the support and care your children need. I am confident in my abilities to create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for your children. Please consider me for the role of nanny for your family. Thank you for your time and I look forward to hearing back from you. Best Regards, Joy P.S. I would like to inform you that under the Home Child Care Provider Pilot (HCCP), employers do not need to obtain an LMIA and pay a fee of $1,000. However, the program will only open on January 1st, 2024, with a limited number of applications accepted each year.

Joy helped in and out of the classroom, whether it was helping with paperwork or managing the children. she is very good with communicating and translating within the room she was able to help the teacher achieve tasks and help teach the children with the teacher. I have known joy for the best part of 6 to 7 months. As a teacher myself and she has been assisting me it has been a joy for her to be by my side and I would happily have her by my side for a very long time as she is a very confident and comfortable assistant with the children.

I would like to highly recommend Joy. As the head teacher at the language school, I can confidently say that joy has been our best Teaching assistant. As her given nickname suggests she brings joy into whatever environment she enters. She has a cheerful personality, can-do attitude and pays attention to detail. Although her best characteristic trait would definitely be her patience and loving nature with children. She is an educator, helper, guide, friend and comforter to our kids. She has been able to deal with meals, noticing and dealing with bathroom needs, and simply going beyond the requirements. She has great morals, is never late and communicates well. We are terribly sad to see her leave although we also do want her to fulfill her dreams in her career path. Please take care of our Joy. Kind regards T.Lucky
