About Me: Hey my name is Millie. I'm searching for a nanny opportunity to join your loving family. I am a very energetic and enthusiastic student and am sure to be a positive addition to your home. I do have my own SUV and my full G class drivers license, and am comfortable transporting children if required. Services And Training: I have completed some post secondary at St Lawrence College in Child and Youth Care. In this program I have taken courses specific to child development, therapeutic activity planning, behavioural interventions, and other related topics. Aside from school, I also volunteer with Youth Diversion in their School and Non Academic Program classroom, assisting with school work and learning as well as emotional and behavioural regulation. I am also an executive member with Best Buddies through Ongwanada and SLC, volunteering closely with persons with intellectual and / or developmental disabilities. I have also worked with children for 8 years babysitting, working at the Playtrium, and working at the trampoline park (camp counsellor). During the pandemic I have primarily spent time working in child care as well- nannying for different families as well as working in a daycare.
