My name is Naomi and I am a British nanny looking for a family in Canada to serve, bless and enhance by looking after their child/children as well as helping around the family to give you peace of mind and time to do the things that really matter. I am passionate about helping your child develop into their full potential by being a positive role model. I work hard to help children learn fine motor skills, develop their reading, writing and maths abilities and to explore the world in exciting and educational ways to discover their interests and talents. With a background in classroom education, one-to-one mentoring of children and teenagers, running fun clubs for children of all ages and one-to-one respite care for a girl with multiple special needs, I have acquired varied experience that I believe would allow me to provide the best direction, support and education for your child. I am trained in First Aid, safeguarding of children, mentoring and teaching, and I am willing to undertake any training a future employer would require in order to best fit the role. Furthermore, since I am from England my English is naturally very good, and there will be no problems with communication with your child or yourself. I also have extensive personal experience in working with young children. Friends and family frequently trust me to babysit their babies, toddlers and primary age children, as they know I keep them safe, give them lots of fun and continue the rules and disciplines that the parents have worked hard to set. I am particularly involved in the development and upbringing of my 18 month old goddaughter, regularly playing with her, helping her develop her speech and fine motor skills and meeting her physical and emotional needs. My husband, Nic, has over 10 years experience in professional children's and youth work and, whilst he will not be the employed nanny (unless a position was also available for him) he is very experienced and capable in the childcare sector and would be available to assist in a voluntary capacity.
