I am Jason, an 11-year-old nanny in Ottawa, Ontario who is looking to join a family in need of quality childcare. I am available for either live-in or live-out, and I am comfortable with part-time hours. The reason why it can be great to start babysitting at a young age like me is that there are many benefits for toddlers playing with older children, as it teaches them to play in more advanced ways than they could with their same-aged peers. This is one of the reasons why my oldest nephew (4) plays in more advanced ways and is quite sturdy for his age. “Young children are naturally drawn to older children. They want to be able to do what older children do...” Younger children gained academic skills by playing with older children. I have years of experience taking care of infants/toddlers (aged 2 to 6 years old), as I am a young uncle of 3 and I took courses as well. I am also skilled in housekeeping and meal preparation (dishes such as eggs, rice, spaghetti, burgers, homemade pizza etc.) and always make sure that the kids I care for are kept clean and fed.
