I would love to work for a family that really needs me and the experience i can bring. I am capable of much responsibility and enjoy the challenge of helping to care for your children with love and firm boundaries. When I am with children I love to laugh and be silly with them but also keep an eye on the fact that I have a huge privilege and responsibility in that how I care for them affects them now and as adults. I am taking online courses from a Canadian college and will be working on those in the evenings for the next two years at least. I have had an ongoing weight issue that I have received help for and am making progress. I have a disability in my legs that prevents me from running and leaping with joy--however I do have a joyful attitude! Please don't let that discourage you from considering me. I believe i have much to offer. I have worked as a babysitter/live-in nanny all across Canada during the last 28 years. I have worked with all ages of children and in different family situations. My favourite positions are with single parent families who need a Nanny who can be flexible with hours. I have worked with single parents who travel frequently for work. I handle responsibility well and am able to step up to a leadership role when the parent is away and step down and take a lesser role when necessary.
