I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself to you. My name is Darlene, and I am bubbly,dyanamic and love to entertain children. When it comes to working with children my first goal is to form a good rapport with the children or child I will be working with and I am very nurturing. Although it is important to set boundaries with children, I believe it is important to have fun with them as well and to foster an envirionment that is safe, friendly and comfortable.Children need to feel a sense of trust when in the care of someone new, and I try to make the child/children feel comfortable with me as much as possible. Aside from my main job which is described below, I have also tutored children privately at the elementary level. I have also babysat for children since I am 14 years old. In addition I have worked at several daycares/nurseries working with children ages eighteen months to five years old.
