I enjoy providing care to infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and kindergartners best. Having provided care for children with autism, I am in awe of how most children develop language and creative play skills so easily. Yet, I know these skill need to be nurtured through praise and attention so that they can flourish. What's more, providing access to various environments such as museums, libraries, parks, and even stores helps children learn more than we realize and as such outings are an integral part of childcare for me. Whereas many of my peers started work in fast food places, I began babysitting. As a consequence, I have extensive experience providing care to children from the time they are infants through elementary age for the last 20 years. However, for the last 12 years I have specialized in providing care to children with autism. I've worked with children as young as 2 years of age through to the teen years.
