I am very flexible and easy going. I have my police & child welfare clearance & a clean driving record. I am allergic to smoke so am only able to assist in NON smoking homes. I am seeking a full-time, permanent position that provides stability. I commenced a s a nurses aid on pediatrics and enjoy children tremendously. During my social work training I completed my first practicum at an elementary school as a learning coach and volunteered then was employed in the after school program. My second year practicum was in Chinatown where I facilitated an after school program and was employed as an instructor for the adult ESL evening class. After that I ran my own tutoring/ESL business for multicultural adults/teenagers & children. Since then I have worked with a variety of special needs adults in a day program or residential setting for almost 15 years.
