My name is Kristel Mangin and I am a 21 year old Education student at the University of Winnipeg. I am currently in my fourth year of education at the UofW and have one year remaining. I have experience working with children from ages 5-14 since I have done 3 years of practicum in schools from both urban and rural communities. I am currently teaching grade 1's; I know I can handle any sort of responsibility if I can juggle a roomfull of 21 6 year olds! I have also worked at “Kids Klub” which was a day camp for children ages 5-13. I'd spend my evenings planning all kinds of fun/educational activities for them. I also have 6 younger cousins whom I care for on a regular basis (from newborn to 10 years old). I am fluent in both Français and English. I was born and raised on a farm with 3 other siblings and my parents. It consisted of a variety of pets so I am a definite animal lover! My hobbies include piano, reading, and any sport. I have good public-relation/communication skills and am patient and tactful. Furthermore, due to being a student-teacher I already have a criminal record and child abuse check in place.
