We could not be happier with Celeste, and our 4 year old son liked her the moment he met her (6 months ago). She walks home with him from preschool three times a week, and along the way visits the library and playground so that by the time he gets home he is content and happy. Celeste provided in-home childcare for our two children an average of 11 hours per week from May of 2006 to July of 2009, and from July of 2009 to December 2011 assisted in our family childcare business as well as looking after our own children, again for an average of 11 hours per week, as well as covering the childcare during family vacations in 2010 and 2011 and Christmas vacation in 2010. During those years our own children ranged in age from one to ten years old. We found Celeste to be an excellent caregiver, responsive to the children's needs, engaging in activities including reading, arts and crafts, and excursions on foot or public transit to local playgrounds and activities. She was attentive to health and safety concerns and guided behaviour gently and firmly when needed. Celeste was reliable and flexible in terms of scheduling, and provided us with important input and suggestions as we established our own licensed family childcare business (in operation now (March 2019) for ten years). We were very pleased with her work, and value her past assistance to our family. Our children remain fond of her and keep in touch from time to time.

Celeste looked after my daughter starting when my daughter was 12 months old. Celeste was very flexible with scheduling working varying days and hours which worked very well with my shift work. She took my daughter to story-time at the library and to classes at the community centre as well as for walks around the neighbourhood.
