Donna is the sweetest, gentlest, most joyful and loving person you could ever meet. She loves children with her whole heart. I have a dayhome, 5 1/2 years ago I was put on bed rest at 32 weeks gestation when my youngest daughter was trying to come early. As a single mom I was scared because I couldn't stop working but wanted my baby to be healthy too. I knew of Donna through some friends, but we really didn't know each other well. Without question, she stepped up and came into my home to help. She was incredible!!! She was on the floor with the kids playing, singing, dancing. She would play guitar, read stories, craft, play outside and exercise with them. And she made all of it a joy for the kids. But most importantly she would laugh with them and loved the children so deeply. I've truly never met anyone like her. Donna is a special woman. My kids have taken to calling her grandma Donna or Nonna. A year ago we visited her on a trip out to BC, she loved on my kids and wanted to show them everything and entertain them and laugh with them. My kids played with fish in the pond, she took them down to the dock, sat on the swing with them, had snacks and treats for them. It is always about the kids with her. A couple weeks ago we went to visit her, as she now lives close by, immediately she wanted to entertain my youngest. They made jello and mini key lime cheesecakes and she started singing and dancing. She is so full of joy and she has the biggest heart. I recommend Donna 110%. I cannot say enough about her. She makes the best of her environment no matter where and always sees the beauty in every one and every day. She's such a blessing to us.
