Nanny in Montreal, Quebec

Hello! I have been working as a nanny and caregiver for the past 4 years. Prior to this I was a swim instructor and lifeguard for 10 years. I taught swim lessons to mainstream and special needs children. I found myself desiring a more personal relationship in my work life rather than seeing my kids for 30 minutes a week. I took a nanny position with a 2 year old girl with autism and worked with her for 2 years. I then nannied a 3 month old baby boy for 8 months. It was incredibly rewarding watching an infant learn and grow before my eyes. My next nanny position was for a 4 year old boy with a neurological condition. I worked with him for 6 months. My journey then took me to eldercare. I took care of an 87 year old woman for 6 months. This was a very different experience than taking care of children. I found it to be too challenging for me. I love to play, teach, and foster creativity in children of all ages. I currently received my CBEST certification allowing me to teach in the schools as a substitute teacher. This has been incredibly rewarding and fun. I am currently helping out my family watching my teenage cousins while my Uncle is away on business, on and off. As they are graduating from high school soon I am looking to relocate and take my next steps forward on my journey. I have my Bachelors of Music in Oboe Performance and am working towards my auditions for graduate school. I am hoping to take my Masters degree in Jazz Performance in the next few years. I love to travel and experience new cultures. One of my goals is to be bi-lingual by 30 years old and what better way to achieve this than full immersion. Until then I would love to get to know a new city and a new family and I look forward to a lasting relationship.
