Hi there, families! I'm Riley, a second-year student here in Halifax and eager to help you with your kiddos! Finding the right person to care for your children is a huge decision, and I’d love to offer you peace of mind. With over 9 years of babysitting experience, I have had the pleasure of working with children of all ages, from newborns to pre-teens. I understand that every child is unique, with their own personality and needs, which is why I strive to create a safe and comfortable environment unique to every family. In addition to my babysitting experience, I have spent four years working as an overnight counsellor at a summer camp, caring for kids ages 5 to 16. There, I learned how to support children with different learning styles, temperaments, and abilities. In additon, I teach sailing, swimming, and various other activitie which has given me an abundance of teaching skills that I can apply in many ways when working with new kiddos. I am fully certified in Emergency First Aid and CPR, and have both my Water Safety Instructor (WSI) and National Lifeguard (NL) certifications, so there's no doubt that your child’s safety is my top priority. In addition, I am happy to help with any cooking, cleaning, pet care, or homework assistance that you require. My hourly rate is $25.00, and whether it is for a quick night out, or after school care, I am eager to connect with families seeking a dependable and caring sitter.
