Hi there! My name is Sydni and I am a 27-year-old mama of an (almost) 1-year-old. I am currently on maternity leave from Northern Health where I was a Primary Care Paramedic which ends September, 2022. Now that I have my daughter, I will not be returning up North due to shift work. I have always loved working with children and was an Aupair in Brisbane, Australia for 2 little boys in 2014 (where I met my now fiancé!). I was a live in nanny and loved watching the 2 boys (9 months and 2 years old) Monday-Friday from --.... I have 4 siblings and grew up helping my mom with the younger children at her home Daycare, making me comfortable with chaos and often preferring the quick paced lifestyle that children usually create! I live on 10 acres East of HWY 59 just past East Selkirk and have a 13-year-old dog. A passion of mine is fostering Northern dogs for short periods of time, typically 2-3 weeks before they are sent to other Provinces to be adopted. I am comfortable to help out with daily chores around the home including keeping up with the children’s laundry, dishes, tidying rooms, vacuuming, animal care and am open to discussing each family’s specific needs. I love to be outside; walks and/or trips to local playgrounds would be a common activity along with educational play as you see fit for your child(ren). I am unique in the fact that I would be bringing my daughter with me to come watch, play and care for your kiddos. While this may not be what some are looking for, I come with a long background of child care, I am a licenced Paramedic with an up-to-date CPR certificate, I have my licence, vehicle and I am flexible with schedules.
