Hi there! My name is Ashlyn. I am 28, live in Findlay Creek and am seeking a wonderful family to nanny for starting in mid-late April. (My availability will change in the September.) I am available: Mondays & Thursday 7am- 3pm Tuesdays 7am-6pm Wednesdays - 7am-4:30pm Fridays: open availability Weekends: open availability About me: I studied Early Childhood Education at St.Clair College in my hometown of Windsor, ON. I worked as a preschool teacher in a childcare centre and later worked as a Children’s Ministries Director for 5 years. Prior to working with children professionally, I nannied part-time for several families and volunteered to care for infants and toddlers in a MOPS program. Currently, I tutor children with dyslexia in the evenings from M-Th. Working with children and families is truly a passion of mine, which is why I am pursuing a career in teaching at the University of Ottawa! With over 15 years of experience I have much to offer your family. I stand by the belief that parents know their child best, and my job is to take your direction and lead with the skills I have. I am extremely hardworking, organized, flexible, communicative, energetic and ready to take on the role of being your next childcare provider. Here are some things I would love to provide your family: - Creative activities to keep your children entertained (I am big on crafts and infant/toddler sensory play!) - Interactive playtime (from dress-up, Legos or peek-a-boo, we'll do it all) - Meal preparation - Light housework (laundry, dishes, tidying up, etc.) - Pet care - Homework help - Able to provide transportation (pick-up/drop-offs) - Pool supervision (I am a former lifeguard) I am CPR and first-aid certified, and I can provide a vulnerable sector police clearance.
