Violetta loves our children as if they were her own. She never refers to her work with us as a job. Rather, she misses the children over the weekend and takes them on play dates on her days off. And I know she provides them with quality care when she's here. She makes a lot of healthy, whole foods - many from El Salvador, which introduces the kids (and my husband and I!) to new things. (All 3 of my kids' favourite food is now cauliflower in apple cider vinegar and oregano.) She takes them out to playgroups as often as she can, to ensure they are socialized with other kids. And on the days they are home, Violetta has tons of energy to keep them occupied. They sing, dance, play outside and walk to the park. And my two-year olds are nearly fluent in Spanish. That's a just bonus.
