Hello! my name is Geneisa but almost everyone just calls me Gen, it's much easier to pronounce! I love working with children which is why I've chosen to focus my degree towards them. I find children to be such amazing spirit lifters and feel like they have so much to teach us or remind us of about life. I also adore the fact that I can just have fun and create an environment where they too can be free to enjoy their childhood with adventures and new discoveries in their own back yard. I have worked as a day camp leader for the town of Okotoks. my duties consisted of planning, organizing and executing day camp activities for children aged three to thirteen. I prepared activities and equipment needed for daily programs. I Provided supervision to the children and worked with other team members on joint events and activities. I have also worked as a Junior coach where I helped to train children ages 5-11 and build their skills as gymnasts. I have had many years of babysitting experience where I have executed many tasks like making dinner for children,helping with homework, putting them to bed, and finding creative ways to have fun. along with all the payed work i have done I have also volunteered my help with a few summer camps and after school programs.
