Having a passionate interest in the prenatal, birth, postnatal and early childhood development period from a very early age, I have actively gathered an assortment of skills, knowledge and experience to pass on to new families. I have active professional affiliations with MBC (Multiple Births Canada), CAPPA (Childbirth and Postpartum Professional Association),TPOMBA (Toronto Parents of Multiple Births Association) and Heart & Stroke Foundation. I\'ve achieved my EMT-B national registry in the US and have been sharing this emergency recognition and response knowledge with families, school and industries for over 8 years as a certified 1st aid/CPR/ AED instructor. I have worked with over 80 families, 65 of those twin families over the past 11 years in the Toronto area. I am also a trained Gymboree Play Program teacher and am able to share with families development appropriate play for infants and toddlers. I am a doula who specializes in multiples care. I have run my own successful business called Twinkeys in Toronto, and am pursuing a new opportunity at the Calgary Milk Bank. I have extensive experience in working with premies, lactation support and helping families with creating healthy sleep habits.
