Nanny in Halifax, Nova Scotia

Hi there my name is Josie and I am a recent Dalhousie graduate with a bachelor of science in neuroscience. I am currently Working and living in the Toronto area near Yonge and Dundas, although I am fairly new to Toronto and originally from Halifax! In my four years at Dalhousie I played for the Varsity soccer team therefore I am very active and have many skills regarding time management, organization, as well as leadership. I have babysat two of my summers during university for children ages 2,5,6, and 10, and I have experience with both males and females. In addition to this, I have held a senior grant staff position at a soccer club where I was in charge of the mini soccer program ages 4-10, and enjoy teaching kids new activities and helping them learn and develop. Over the years I have also served as a substitute teacher at a preschool and can assist with teaching / homework when needed. My previous Job in halifax has been working in a group home facility with adults who have intellectual disabilities however I have also coached children with similar disabilities and am comfortable working in such environment. I am comfortable with all types of pets (have a cat of my own), have a valid licence and do not mind some housekeeping as well as cooking. I also have many health and safety certifications including CPR, first aid, and food safety that I am happy to provide.
