Hi! My name is Aimee and I have recently moved to the area. I am currently taking a year off from medical school to sit the medical licensing exams. I love spending time with children and thought that a job as a nanny would be an excellent break from studying! Working with kids will also provide me with even more invaluable experience that I'll be able to use in my future career as a paediatrician. I currently hold a degree in psychology with a focus on child/ adolescent development. I also have well over a decade's experience working with children of all ages and abilities. Some of my experience with children comes from working as a dance instructor, camp cabin leader, respite worker, "Refuge" volunteer, nanny, and being a big sister to four young siblings. As someone who is medically inclined, I am very comfortable caring for acutely ill children (colds, flus, and so on) as well as for children with chronic medical conditions (type one diabetes, epilepsy, serious behavioural/ psychiatric illnesses, etc.).
