Nanny in Gibbons, Alberta

Hello possible future families. My name is Fallon and I am an experienced nanny looking to join another family and love some more children. A little back ground on me, I am moving to the Edmonton area and looking for a new placement. I have had the pleasure of watching two little girls for the past three years. And before them I was a nanny for three little boys for four and a half years. I have been working as a full time nanny for nearly 13 years now in total and I can truly say I really love what I do. I enjoy being able to hang out with kids all day and aid in their development and learning. With nannying through covid, I have seen a few different changes in how I provide my care and I really try to ensure safe and clean playing for the children in my care. I have also gotten to experience taking on a more active home schooling responsibility which has been an exciting new endeavor. Before I moved to Edmonton, I lived in Hinton Alberta which is where I got my first ever nannying job, as well as worked in a daycare center. I have experience with children aged 0-13. I enjoy, and have been very lucky, in getting jobs where I truly become one of the family. I like working closely with parents to ensure we understand parenting techniques and align with parenting styles. I like to have very open communication with parents and enjoy being able to send them pictures of their kids throughout the day if they would like them. As a caretaker I believe in little to no screen time (as per parents requests). I love being out of a house and exploring new parks, doing day trips to fun places, or setting up play dates. Crafting is something I love doing with kids to makes valuable trinkets for memories in years ahead. I am great at time management and usually can fit in household chores to really make the parents lives easier. I have a clean criminal record and clean driving abstract as well as my own vehicle and I am not afraid to commute for a great family (I live in Bowden and have been commuting to Calgary) and my references can inform you on how reliable and punctual I am. Overall, I really don't enjoy talking myself up and I really believe actions speak louder then words. I know I am good at what I do and I have references that will agree with that.
