Nanny in Mississauga, Ontario

Hello, my name is Liza Johnston and I am a first year student at York university in the Children, Childhood and Youth program. I am currently looking for a part time position that works with my school schedule, I am available every weekday evening and all day during the weekend. Experience: -7 years experience as a nanny as well as over 15 years of experience as a babysitter. -ECE training -CPR and First Aid certified -excellent references -Food and Safety training -experienced with children aged 4 months to their teen years -I was with my last full time family for three years Parenting Philosophy: I firmly believe in Montessori and gentle parenting and do my best everyday to raise kind, gentle, productive kids. I will be doing MACTE certified Montessori training online starting in September and am excited to learn even more about Montessori. Health and Safety: I am COVID cautious and still mask whenever I am in public and I am double vaxxed and double boosted. What I’m looking for: I am currently looking for a part time position that works with my school schedule. I am also open to a nanny share and I am available to start as soon as next Monday! I also do occasional babysitting for date nights etc if you’re looking for someone to do that as well. How I Spend my Days as a Nanny: With all of my nanny kiddos I believe that they learn through play and every day experiences. I love to spend time outside exploring nature. I love to plan crafts and learning activities as well as outings outside of the house to the library, museums, music classes, grocery stores and more! I am also happy to help around the house with all childcare related tasks such as children’s laundry, tidying up our dishes from the day and making sure play areas are tidy and organized. About Me: I am a 27 year old nanny and business owner. In my free time I run a sensory activity and wooden toy business that I started in November 2020. I enjoy being creative in all aspects of my life and spend my free time working on my business, doing puzzles, and spending time with friends and family.
