Hi parents, I'm a 23-year-old college student, with life-long experience working with children and pets. My experience includes babysitting, camp counselling, daycare, and rec center staff. I have outlined my work experience and certifications for you in the section below. I grew up and live in Westboro, and I have my own car, bike, and bus pass to get around. I have a very flexible schedule and I'm currently looking to partner with a family to provide full-time care and assistance. I am open to part-time & on-call work as well. I have many skills, training, and certifications that I think you will appreciate and a personality and activeness that your child/children will love. I offer and am experienced with childcare of all ages, I am able to adapt quickly to keep your child/children engaged and entertained with sports, games, arts and crafts, imagination, outdoor activities, and more. I can also help with pick-up/drop-off, homework, food preparation, meals, household chores, and pet care. I am a very active individual who can keep up with the energy and enthusiasm that we see and love from children, and whatever their favorite activities might be I am sure that I will have a great time participating! : ) Listed below is my work experience. Sitting 2016 to Present - Previously I have worked with various families, up to 4 children, boys and girls, aging from newborn to preteen. - Additional assistance such as household chores, homework help, and pet care of all kinds. Cosmic Adventures Staff 2019 to 2020 - Party hosting which included entertainment and catering. - Supervision of large numbers of children in the jungle gym. - First-aid administration. Dovercourt Recreation Center Counsellor 2015 to 2018 - Pick-up/drop-off to and from Broadview Public School of up to 20 children at a time. - Outdoor/indoor supervision of dozens of children during activities, sports, swim, and free play. - Summer camp counsellor for biking camp, kinder camp, and various others. - Organization, planning, and carrying out unique and exciting daily games and activities. - First-aid administration. - Experience and time spent with children with disabilities. As for my hobbies and interests, I competed at a national level in trampoline a few years ago, and continue to practice weekly on my own. I typically bike or exercise daily, and I love to go hiking. I love board games, puzzles, video games, math, reading, and sports. When it comes to the fun of toys and games that any kid enjoys I also tend to have a natural excitement when participating in anything they find fun.
