Hi there! I’m a highly qualified nanny with 12 years experience working with children. I started teaching gymnastics to children ages 2-12. After that, I worked in two daycares with children ranging from the ages of infants and up. I decided to work for a single mother living on an acreage for her four children ages 2,5,7 and 9. I did that for two years, but had to go my separate way to pursue my dreams as an teacher. I took my early childhood education last year and obtained my level 2. I’ve always known from a young age that I wanted to work with children and that it was a passion of mine. In college, I learned about child development, observation, assessment and documentation, learning through play, children with diverse abilities, child guidance techniques, family and community relationships, play environments and program planning, programming for infants, toddlers, pre-school and school-age children, administration and child care regulations and communication and employability skills. I hope the employer I work for we can develop a close bond, open communication, flexible and easy to talk to. For the future, I plan on obtaining my level 3 and later opening my own childcare centre so I would love the extra experience doing what I absolutely love.
