Nanny in Calgary, Alberta

Hello! My name is George Rinyu and I am 18 years old. First things first let's get this out of the way, I have taken a course with Child Care Canada here in Calgary. The course mainly covers caring for toddlers and infants, however I do have a bunch of experience with older children (around ages 5 - 8. I am constantly looking after my young niece and nephew, ages 3 and 1.5, respectively. In terms of pet care, I also have a great deal of experience with many different types of animals. I myself have owned 2 dogs, 3 cats, and had an aquarium. On top of my own pets I have looked after rabbits, hamsters, snakes, turtles, tarantulas, and the list goes on. Here's a little bit about me! As I mentioned, I am 18 years old turning 19 in June. I graduated high school in June 2016 and have spent the past year or so mainly working and solidifying my choices regarding post-secondary education. I do have a job working for Ticketmaster, but I also do a lot of work in the film industry here in Calgary (mostly acting). In terms of hobbies, I mainly just play music. I play a wide variety of instruments and have played in numerous pit orchestras and jazz bands in a few different provinces, including Canada's premiere national wind orchestra. I am also an active member of the Calgary Stampede Showband; a world-class marching and show ensemble travelling and performing around the world. I am quite disciplined and have a very positive and feel-good attitude. I take these traits to heart especially when it comes to child care because I know how important it is to be kind and if I was any less than that it wouldn't really be child 'care'. I assure you the most important thing to me is displaying proper care technique and assuring you and your child are happy.
